Manuel has been with Hartley’s almost from the beginning. He started working watering plants in 2003, and since then has learned english, started his family, and been the backbone of our maintenance crew. Manuel grows all the container stock that replaces greenery in the gardens, and maintains the 3-acre garden, along with his wife, Dulia, and kids (who have grown up here, but are now getting off to college).
Hartley Botanica is truly an amazing place and the rave reviews about the venue from our guests poured in all through the night.

I heard nothing but great reviews from so many of our guests! I already knew the venue was beautiful but I was especially impressed with the staff and their close attention to all needs! The food was yummy, the food and drink service to the wedding party during the cocktail hour was so appreciated by all that were kept "captive" there. I felt that we were well taken care of the whole evening. And as the mother-of-the-bride, I was able to be a guest and not have to oversee anything. A fun time by all!
I am just winding down from this whirlwind weekend! But I just had to tell you that Hartley Botanica was the most amazing venue & experience. Our guests were raving how beautiful it was, & many told us it was the nicest wedding they've ever been to.
